Large industrial parts require regular maintenance. Conventional cleaning methods are not always sufficient to achieve a good quality cleaning result.
HX Power Cleaning uses ultrasonic technology in industrial equipment for large and small heat exchangers, valves, seals, pumps, and pipe sections, filters, structured packing, demister pads and even scaffolding material. In the oil industry sector and gas production our high-power ultrasonic technology offers you great cleaning benefits.
Our powerful 28kHz sound waves cavitation process and our specific chemistry will eliminate heavy contaminants caused by production process tools. HX Power Cleaning oil and gas maintenance equipment effectively removes all forms of hydrocarbon contamination and refinery-grade by-products.
During the shutdown maintenance ultrasonic cleaner can be used for the cleaning of large process components, one of the most common being the one used for heat exchanger fouling cleaning. HX Power Cleaning has developed a transportable autonomous ultrasonic cleaning vessel, a container cleaning machine which can be temporarily located at the customer’s site during the maintenance shutdown. This container equipped with ultrasonic tank is prepared for outside use thanks to its autonomous power generation and weather resistant construction. Thanks to these features, shell and tube heat exchanger fouling can also be removed from the largest parts during the refinery maintenance shutdown.Compared with the traditional hydroblasting method used for heat exchanger maintenance, ultrasonic heat exchanger cleaning provides considerable water, labor, and energy savings.
For example, conventional hydro-jetting can use over 20,000 liters of water per one heat exchanger unit. Furthermore, all the used water needs water treatment. In the case of the ultrasonic cleaning process the water is contained in a tank and changed only after the cleaning of several bundles. This means that the tank cleaning equipment is providing huge savings in the long term. The ultrasonic cleaning method cannot damage the surface as is the case with high-pressure jetting and reduces the safety concern of operators compared with the high-pressure cleaning method.
