Why the HX-57000 Matters for Industrial Turnarounds
The company UltraTecno will once more open its doors for its third Open House 2022, to be held on 21 July at its Valencian premises. The goal is to present its latest ultrasonic cleaning machine project—one of the largest ultrasonic cleaning tanks in the world, with a 57,000-liter capacity—designed to clean oversized shell-and-tube bundles and other refinery components with repeatable, recipe-driven cycles. Built as a marine-transportable unit with outdoor operation in mind (IP55), the HX-57000 can be staged near the pull area to reduce crane moves and idle time. For an overview of our approach, explore our industrial ultrasonic heat exchanger cleaning solutions. For a detailed view of equipment capabilities and deployment options, see our industrial ultrasonic heat exchanger cleaning machine.
What makes this system stand out is the combination of tank volume, synchronized transducer layout, and low-frequency power that delivers deep, uniform cavitation across large surfaces. The 28 kHz field is engineered to act on bonded deposits—scale, polymers, coke—without attacking base metal, protecting metallurgy while restoring heat-transfer duty quickly after restart. If you want the underlying physics and control parameters, review the fundamentals of our 28 kHz ultrasonic cavitation technology.
Because turnarounds live or die on logistics, the HX-57000’s containerized design simplifies utilities, staging, and sequencing so teams can clean, inspect, and release equipment in tight loops. The approach aligns especially well with refinery and gas-plant workflows, where consistency between shifts and predictable cycle times keep the critical path on track. Explore typical refinery use cases and constraints addressed by our Oil & Gas heat exchanger cleaning applications.
Agenda, Live Demo, and What You’ll Learn
The event will begin at 10:00 with a company presentation covering the most significant projects in recent years and a walk-through of the manufacturing process from raw materials to final QA. Attendees will then join a live demonstration of the HX-57000 shell-and-tube ultrasonic cleaning cycle—loading, bath chemistry, temperature control, generator settings, timed exposure, and rinse—so you can see how the system achieves even results on complex geometries. For process basics and inspection checkpoints you can apply on site, consult our shell-and-tube heat exchanger cleaning process.
Beyond the demo, the session compares cycle times, water use, and rework rates with conventional jetting so you can build a defensible business case. You’ll learn how the closed-tank method cuts effluent and simplifies housekeeping, why recipe control reduces operator variability, and how to document outcomes for engineering sign-off. For a concise decision aid you can share with your team, use our ultrasonic vs. hydroblasting heat exchanger cleaning comparison.
To round things off, we’ll walk through real-world results—ΔT recovery, pressure-drop normalization, time-to-clean per bundle, and rework rate—so you can benchmark against your own units. If you want more examples across crude preheat trains, condensers, reboilers, fin-fan spares, demisters, and valve bodies, browse the latest case studies and results.
Having concluded the demonstration, a visit to the factory will be given and this will be followed by a networking lunch.
We are both proud and satisfied of the work that has been carried out and wish to share this magnificent project with you. If you any interest in seeing the vast machine on the UltraTecno premises, please send us an email in order to confirm your attendance at info@ultratecno.es.
